Does UIDAI tracks your activity as it has your data like biometric, bank account, PAN?– UIDAI will not track your activity. It only stores your basic details on its database server.

Does UIDAI gets your bank details, mutual funds detail as these are linked to Aadhar?– No. When you give Aadhaar number to your banks, mutual fund companies they do not send your bank account details to UIDAI. UIDAI responds to such verification requests by replying either ‘Yes’ or ‘No’. UIDAI never receives or collects your bank, investments, insurance etc. details.

Can someone hack your bank account if they know your Aadhaar number?– No. Aadhaar number alone cannot be used for banking or any other service.
Can the mobile company store my biometrics taken at the time of SIM verification and use it for other purposes later?– No.

Aadhaar Act, strictly prohibits any entity like mobile phone companies, banks etc from storing, sharing or publishing the biometric data for any reason and they cannot retain any copy of such fingerprints.
eAadhaar cannot be used as  proof of identity/ proof of address?– eAadhaar (downloaded Aadhaar) from UIDAI website is as legally valid as original Aadhaar issued by UIDAI. Both should be acceptable by all Agencies.
